why people steal cars

people steal cars for many reasons. One reason is that the thief needs transportation and uses the vehicle to get some where. Another reason is to steal the car for parts and sell the parts for money. And another reason is some people get a high feeling from stealing a car and they then become addicted to that feeling so they steal more and more to re create the feeling.

the most stolen car in canada is a 2000 honda civic SiR 2-door
To protect your car park it in the light lock it and have a car alarm

Why are men driven to sexual assault

Sexual behaviour could be socialized in males because much of our behaviour is learned in social settings based on peers, parents, media. Peers influence sexual behaviour because it is important for an individual to feel accepted by his peers so his sexual behaviour will probably be influence by the behaviours of his peers. Depending on the values of the parents the behaviour of the kids will be quite different from one family to the next; in families were there is mutual respect boys will treat their girlfriends with respect. The media seems to say that it is OK to be a skank and to use your body to control men. Then the men expect the women to do that and if they don't they make them.

Sexual assault is a crime of control, power and the type of nature of the man involved in the assault. This would be a hypermasculine man because by definition someone who is hypermasculine craves sexual control, is aggressive and cares only for his own needs.

In Wednesday's Colonist there was an article about a Chinese teenager rescued from working in a bawdy house. Zhao Xiao Jin has been charged with keeping a bawdy house living off prostitution and procuring someone to become a prostitute. In this case his motivation was profit from sex. He would have had complete control over his employees.

Tuesday may 4th abbootsford

a twelve year old boy was held at knife point and forced to drive a get a way vehicle for a man who committed a robbery. although the boy told the thief that he was too young to drive, the robber forced him by holding a knife to his neck. when the truck had to stop at a train crossing police surrounded it and arrested the man charging him with kidnapping, theft, and weapon possession among other things.

short term:fear and excitement and worried that his father might be angry

long term:fear of knives, strangers, of getting a drivers licence

On The Sidewalk Bleeding
In this story the main character belongs to a gang and wears gang colours. He goes to buy some cigarettes and gets stabbed by an opposing gang member he tries to take off the gang jacket so he does not die as just another gang member. His girlfriend is devastated by his death.

To mitigate the effects of crime on both the victim and the families, in a perfect world there would be no crime. However we don't live in a perfect world, so what do we do? Hire more law enforcement officers, with this the visible presence alone may cause people to be afraid to commit a crime, because of fear of being caught, plus with more law enforcement officers more area can be covered and the respond time for an officer to reach a crime scene would decrease giving the perp less chance to escape.

Deviant or Criminal?

To start off I guess I should explain the difference between criminal and deviant behaviour.

Deviance: actions or behaviours that violate society's social culture i.e. spitting, breastfeeding in public (although I see nothing wrong with breastfeeding in public its just feeding a baby), abortion(again I see nothing wrong with this either but others would argue its deviant and should be illegal)

Crime: actions that break society's laws to uphold peace i.e. murder, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon

But there are some crimes that we also find deviant i.e. child pornography everyone(at least I hope everyone) finds this gross and wrong and its illegal

Deviant actions that I think should be Criminalized:
Spitting its gross and there is no need to do it so I think it should become law not to spit in public and if you do you should get a fine of $250
Bullying should be turned to law there is no need for a person or persons to abuse someone physically or mentally and if anyone is found bullying depending on the age they should either go to juvenile detention or pay a fine of $400
Discrimination against gays or lesbians there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with being in love with the same sex if a man loves a man so be it if a woman loves another woman so be it there is no difference between them and heterosexual couple it is all the same so I think if someone is being discriminated for being in a same sex relationship then the person or persons discriminating the couple should be charge with a fine of $550

Criminal actions that I find should be De-Criminalized:
Same sex marriage should be allowed to happen in any country in any state they are the same beings as anyone else why should heterosexual couples get more rights then a same sex marriage its wrong there all the same so I think same sex marriage should be legalized
Marijuana I think should be legalized not because I smoke it because the government could make more money if they taxed marijuana farmers why waste the farmers by throwing them in jail when you can use them to make a profit give the farms a certain amount they need to grow and ship out to some marijuana smoke factory and depending on the farm size the tax can be large and the amount that is needed to be grown can be large or small if the farm is small
Possession of a fully automatic assault rifle there is difference between the deadliness of a assault rifle or a shotgun or sniper rifle there all the same they all can KILL they are all very DEADLY so why make one illegal and not the rest so that's why i think owning a fully automatic assault rifle should not be illegal

Personal Opinion

There are many reason crime is committed. I believe they are because of: Greed, Living Conditions, Demons, Mental State, Sense of fitting in, need, childhood, they dont know its wrong,
Mental illness, Gives them a high like feeling, in the moment, in the job, peer pressure. and those are why i think crime is commited
